About The Zodiac Atlas
The Zodiac Atlas is an independent astrology reference. We build a free calculator that shows where every planet stood on your birthday and write plain-language meanings for each placement.
Why this site exists
Most astrology pages give the same paragraph about Venus in Leo or Moon in Scorpio, and few say how often a placement occurs, which Sun signs it comes with, or when the planet is actually in that sign. We wanted a reference where the meaning sits next to real numbers: positions calculated from an astronomical ephemeris and statistics from every birth date between 1930 and 2025.
Who writes it
The site is made by The Zodiac Atlas editorial team. Pages are signed by the team rather than by a named expert, because that is who writes and checks them. We use AI for drafts and a person edits every page; the full process is on How we create our readings.
What is on the site
- Planet sign calculator: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, the outer planets, North Node and Lilith from a birth date, on a zodiac wheel.
- Pages for each planet in each sign, with their own data. They are added one by one and listed on the home page.
How we are funded
The site is free to use. We earn commissions when readers buy products we recommend through affiliate links, as explained in the affiliate disclosure.
Our sister site
Numerology lives on a separate site made by the same team: The Number Atlas, with life path, angel number and Destiny Matrix calculators.
