Leo rising, with one minute left
His ascendant is at 29°51′ Leo, nine minutes of arc from the end of the sign. At 2:32 a.m., a single minute after the recorded time, Virgo was rising. Charts built from a rounded time or a guessed one can easily show Virgo, and some do.
In the tradition Leo rising is read as warm, proud and visible, and Virgo rising as reserved and precise. Some astrologers say a rising degree this late carries traces of the next sign. That is one school, and the record still puts the ascendant in Leo.

Calendars that date Scorpio from October 24 get him right, and so does one that ends Libra at midnight on October 23. Sites that list him as a Libra use a different cutoff.
