Jamaican singer, songwriter and guitarist Bob Marley began his career in 1963 with the group that became the Wailers. After they signed to Island Records, Catch a Fire and Burnin' came out in 1973, and Natty Dread followed in 1974. Exodus, released in 1977, and Kaya, in 1978, were recorded in England. Uprising in 1980 was his last studio album issued in his lifetime. The collection Legend appeared in 1984. The Rock Hall inducted him in 1994, and he received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2001. He died on May 11, 1981.
Two thirty, from a biographer
Astro-Databank's Source Notes read: "Biographer Timothy White, 'Catch a Fire' gives Feb 6, 1945, 2:30 AM EST, St. Ann's." A second note adds: "Time of 2:30 AM also given by him to Neil Spencer, as quoted in Frank Clifford's The Book of Music Horoscopes (Flare UK, 2018)." The database grades the time B, since the sources are books, not a record.
The note also says almost all online sources give February 6, 1945, as the date, and the chart uses it. The clock is Eastern Standard Time, five hours behind Greenwich.

Nine signs for ten planets
