Charli XCX, born Charlotte Emma Aitchison in Cambridge and raised in Essex, is an English singer and songwriter. She began posting songs on Myspace in 2008 and signed with Asylum Records in 2010. She co-wrote and sang on Icona Pop's "I Love It" in 2012, released her debut album True Romance in 2013, and in 2014 featured on Iggy Azalea's "Fancy" and released "Boom Clap". Crash came out in 2022 and Brat in 2024; Brat and its songs won three Grammy Awards.
