Their CBS series The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour began on August 1, 1971. Moonstruck won her the Best Actress Oscar at the ceremony on April 11, 1988. Her single "Believe", from the 1998 album of the same name, reached No. 1 in the United States in 1999 and took the Grammy for Best Dance Recording in 2000.
