Uranus on the summit, over the sign it rules
Uranus at 18°29′ of Scorpio stands 1°05′ past the midheaven at 17°25′ Scorpio, in the 10th house whichever system is used. The newer ruler of Aquarius thus holds the summit, where the tradition looks for reputation and visible role.
Scorpio held the midheaven from 8:45 a.m. to 10:43 a.m. Uranus in a fixed water sign is linked with change that comes slowly and with force. Venus, at 9°16′ of Scorpio, keeps it company, in the 9th house for Placidus and the 10th for Whole Sign.

Sun, Mars and Neptune share the 11th house
The Sun at 16°12′, Neptune at 17°58′ and Mars at 26°56′, all in Sagittarius, all sit in the 11th house. Retrograde Mercury at 9°45′ joins them in Whole Sign but stays one house higher in Placidus. The 11th is the house of groups, networks and long-range hopes.
Sun and Neptune are conjunct within 1°45′. Neptune loosens boundaries, so the Sun joined to it suggests an identity that works through ideals and imagination. Five planets are mutable, four in Sagittarius and Saturn in Virgo.

Venus square Jupiter, 0°29′ from exact
Venus at 9°16′ of Scorpio and Jupiter at 8°47′ of Leo, retrograde, make the closest pairing here, a square 0°29′ wide. Both signs are fixed. A square between the planet of attraction and the planet of abundance is read as an appetite for scale that presses against its own limits.
Jupiter occupies the 7th house in each system. It also trines Mercury within 0°57′, which ties thinking to the same generous planet.

Fire under the Moon: Aries trine Jupiter and Mercury
The Moon entered Aries at 9:40 p.m. on December 7, 12.2 hours before the recorded minute, and stays until 3:51 a.m. on December 10. At 6°52′ it is a 2nd-house Moon in Placidus, 3rd in Whole Sign. An Aries Moon brings quick, direct feeling.
It trines Jupiter within 1°56′ and Mercury within 2°53′, a circuit of fire. Six planets in all stand in fire signs, an element the tradition ties to enthusiasm and momentum.

Aquarius on the horizon until 11:27 a.m.
Aquarius took the Covington horizon at 9:51 a.m., a minute before the recorded time, and yields to Pisces at 11:27 a.m. Aquarius rising is paired with a cool, independent first impression.
Saturn, the older ruler of Aquarius, stands at 13°42′ of Virgo in the 8th house, and it sextiles Uranus within 4°48′. Two rulers at an easy angle point to a bridge between structure and the urge to depart from it.
