Usher Raymond IV is an American singer, songwriter, dancer and actor. He signed with LaFace Records as a teenager and released his debut album, Usher, in 1994. My Way (1997) included "You Make Me Wanna...", which topped the UK chart, and "Nice & Slow", his first chart-topper on the US Hot 100. 8701 followed in 2001 and Confessions in 2004, led by "Yeah!". Raymond v. Raymond (2010) brought "OMG". He headlined the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show in February 2024 and released Coming Home that year. Wikipedia counts eight Grammy Awards.

The Astro-Databank collector Dave B. Campbell quotes Marc S. Malkin, "Usher the Ultimate Entertainer" (1998), pages 11 and 80: "Usher was born Usher Raymond IV at four a.m. on October 14, 1978, in Dallas, Texas". The database rates the time B, since a book states it without naming a record.
Sy Scholfield adds that no "Usher Raymond" appears in the Texas Birth Index. No other time is listed.
