The time comes from Rolling Stone, February 23, 2006, quoted to Astro-Databank by an anonymous source: "a seven-pound baby girl at 7:27 A.M. on March 27th, 1970". Astro-Databank grades it B: a biography gives the time without naming its source.
The year comes from a different paper. The Long-Islander of Huntington, April 10, 1969, listed "March 27 Mariah" among recent births at Huntington Hospital, with no time. Astro-Databank keeps 1969 and 7:27 a.m., so the chart below is for 1969.
